With 4.5 ratings on TripAdvisor this is the place you’d want to be. The Shack showcases a range of gourmet burgers that are free from additives and preservatives just a laddle-full of goodness and secret seasoning. Their prime cut meats are sourced from local beef suppliers. This little gem offers something for everyone; including seafood, vegetarian and gluten free options. Did I mention Sunday Carvery with the perfect spiced pork crackling (it’s one of the side option so you can pile it on your plate) ever. Children friendly with a warm friendly atmosphere where else would you rather have your meal.
I come here often because their sweet potato fries are to die for, crisp-salty-sweet goodness. Before all the lovely burgers we make sure that we order ample starters… we often order the chicken wings to share or have King Prawns or Cajun Calamari then on to the burgers. My favourite burger is the Mississippi with extra pulled pork on top. I want it to be called the FloJo, I order it every time. My boyfriend love all the burgers especially the Matador and Hog Father both have very distinct taste and delicious. We never leave this place without having their lovely puds, my choice is the Waffle topped with ice cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce. I also love the cheesecake, raspberry sundae and chocolate brownie. YUM! No wonder I always come in hungry.
They also offer less calorific tasty chicken breasts which can be paired up with skinny fries, salad, sweet potato or curly fries. The Shack Chicken is my favourite, the taste is perfect and it’s original. If you’re really watching the weight, I suggest going for the King Prawn Salad, fresh tossed salad and there’s plenty of king prawns around! I promise they are all top of the YUM-o-meter.
